Mon May 20, 2024: Gregory tells Finn how much he means to him, Kristina is crushed by what she’s seen, and Anna quizzes Brennan about his “attack.”
Friday’s GH recap: Jason grabbed Sonny after he decked Dex, and Brennan was rushed to GH after stabbing himself.
Gregory, Finn, and Violet arrive at their place.
She’s eager for BLQ and Chase to have a baby so she can babysit.
They tell her how great her singing was and she’s sure the bride and groom will live happily ever after.
When she goes off, Gregory tells his son it was a magical day and he couldn’t have done it without him. He’s so grateful.
Finn tells him he doesn’t know how good it feels to be there for him after they missed out on so much.
His father says that’s ancient history.
The doctor is in awe of how brave he’s been and how he’s embracing life.
“Now is all I have,” says Gregory.
Violet returns to get her flowers and her grandfather urges her to dry them out.
They are surprised when she decides she can tuck herself in and goes to bed.
Finn says his daughter is growing up fast. His dad assures him she will always need her dad.
“That never goes away,” says Finn.
His dad apologizes for the words they had the other day. He was lashing out because of his disease.
It was cheap and he loves both his sons and is proud of who they have become.
Finn tells him he’s the best father he’s known. His dad tells him he’s a good son.
The doctor just hopes he’s half the man he thinks he is. His dad kisses him.
Finn walks him to his room and helps him prepare for bed.
“Don’t even think about tucking me in,” Gregory jokes.
On his way out, his son reminds him to brush his teeth and have good dreams.
As Gregory tries to sleep, he flashes back to his life with his children over the past few months.
Finn goes out to the living room and calls Alexis. He tells her the wedding was wonderful but he drank.
He explains he absent-mindedly drank during a toast. She asks if he thinks he subconsciously wanted a drink.
A slip is a slip and she tells him to forgive himself.
He can’t believe he’s lost seven years of sobriety in a few seconds. She tells him this was not his fault.
He appreciates her talking him down and wishes her good luck tomorrow.
In their wedding suite, BLQ realizes she’s hungry. She and Chase canoodle.
As they eat, she asks how he feels about him mom not being there. He was disappointed but he’s used to her not being around.
Besides, given what happened between her and Finn, it would have made people uncomfortable.
They think today was perfect and she’s glad his dad officiated.
They have a drink and talk about how great all the photos will be. They think it was all great and kiss. They sleep.
At the reception, Kristina is shocked when she walks in on Jason holding Sonny back as he threatens to kill him and Dex.
Battered Dex crawls away.
She runs away and Sonny orders Jason to stay away from his family before storming off.
Jason calls Carly and tells her that Sonny is in trouble.
She soon arrives and he fills her in on Sonny attacking Dex.
Shuddering, Kristina rushes into a bathroom and calls Blaze, telling her she needs her.
Sonny rushes in, begging for the chance to explain.
She backs away from him and begs him to go as he asks her not to be afraid.
He shuffles out and she sobs and sits on the floor.
When Blaze arrives, her girlfriend is still shaking and tells her about what she walked in on.
Kristina feels like such a fool. Everyone has been telling her what her father is like. She’s been defending him over and over.
She’s never seen him so angry and violent. He said he was going to empty a gun in some heads.
Blaze thinks she needs a bath and some comfy clothes and promises she won’t be alone.
