Yankees' Aaron Judge: Stays red-hot
Rotowire
Judge went 2-for-4 with a two-run home run and an RBI single during Tuesday's 10-1 win over Kansas City.
Judge launched his fourth homer of his last three starts, plating Juan Soto on a two-run shot in the seventh inning. The center fielder has also generated multiple hits in four straight games and eight of his last 10 contests. Lost in the mix of his absurd power streak -- which has seen his ISO surpass .400 -- Judge is striking out at a 24.1 percent clip this season, which would be a career low if it stands.

Yankees' Austin Wells: Launches first homer since April
Rotowire
Wells went 2-for-4 with a three-run home run during Tuesday's 10-1 win over the Royals.
Wells extended the Yankees' advantage to 6-0 in the fourth inning after he tagged Brady Singer for a three-run home run. The long ball was Wells' second of the campaign and his first since April 30. Wells has been splitting catching duties with Jose Trevino this season almost 50/50, though Trevino has been swinging the better bat thus far. Wells is slashing .211/.295/.325 with 14 runs and 10 RBI over 132 plate appearances.

Yankees' Marcus Stroman: Rebounds with win
Rotowire
Stroman (6-2) picked up the win Tuesday, allowing four hits and three walks with one strikeout across 5.2 scoreless innings against Kansas City.
After allowing a season-high five runs in his last start, Stroman blanked the Royals on Tuesday. However, he struggled with command, finding the strike zone on just 54 of his 102 pitches while issuing three walks. The 33-year-old has generated five combined strikeouts in his last three starts, a stretch in which he's walked seven batters and hit two more. On the year, Stroman owns a 2.82 ERA and a 1.24 WHIP across 79.2 innings. He's lined up to face the Red Sox at Fenway on Sunday.

Rotowire
LeMahieu isn't in the Yankees' lineup for Tuesday's game against the Royals, Erik Boland of Newsday reports.
LeMahieu has gone 4-for-9 with an RBI across his last three games, and he'll get a breather Tuesday while Oswaldo Cabrera starts at third base, batting ninth.

Yankees' Michael Tonkin: Earns first save
Rotowire
Tonkin earned a save against the Royals on Monday, walking one and striking out two in a scoreless ninth inning.
Tonkin was called upon to protect a 4-2 lead in the ninth inning and worked around a walk to secure his first save of the season and second of his career. Usual closer Clay Holmes pitched three times in the past four days, so it was a rare appearance in the role for Tonkin. He now owns a 2.45 ERA, 1.13 WHIP and 30:11 K:BB ratio in 29.1 combined innings pitched for the Twins, Mets and Yankees in 2024.

Yankees' Carlos Rodon: Earns seventh straight win
Rotowire
Rodon (9-2) earned the win against the Royals on Monday, allowing one run on five hits and no walks with three strikeouts over seven innings.
Rodon cruised through the majority of the game, with a two-out RBI single by Freddy Fermin in the seventh inning being his only blemish. While Rodon only struck out three, he generated 14 swinging strikes and didn't allow any extra-base hits. Each of Rodon's seven consecutive wins have also been quality starts, and he has now completed at least six innings in 10 of his 14 outings. He owns a 2.93 ERA, 1.05 WHIP and 74:20 K:BB on the season and will look to continue his win streak against the Red Sox on Saturday.

Yankees' Anthony Rizzo: Held out again Monday
Rotowire
Rizzo is absent from the lineup for Monday's game in Kansas City.
Yankees manager Aaron Boone had indicated the struggling Rizzo would receive a second straight day off, and that's exactly what will happen. Rizzo has just one hit over his last 29 at-bats. DJ LeMahieu will handle first base Monday while Oswaldo Cabrera plays third base.

Yankees' Giancarlo Stanton: Sitting out Monday
Rotowire
Stanton is not in the lineup for Monday's game against the Royals.
Juan Soto is getting a day at designated hitter as he eases back into the Yankees' lineup, and manager Aaron Boone has opted against using Stanton in the outfield, so he'll begin this one on the bench. Stanton went 0-for-14 with seven strikeouts in the weekend series versus the Dodgers.

Rotowire

Yankees' Juan Soto: Returns to lineup at DH
Rotowire
Soto (forearm) will start at designated hitter and bat second Monday in Kansas City, Brendan Kuty of The Athletic reports.
Soto missed the previous three contests with left forearm inflammation but is feeling well enough to return to action for the start of the Yankees' series against the Royals. He will be eased into action at DH, and it's possible the team will keep him there for a bit in order to protect his forearm.

Yankees' Clay Holmes: Logs save No. 19
Rotowire
Holmes picked up the save Sunday against the Dodgers. He pitched a scoreless ninth but allowed two hits and struck out a batter.
Holmes quickly got the first two outs of the inning but then ran into some trouble after allowing back-to-back base hits to bring Mookie Betts up to the plate. Holmes was able to get Betts to whiff on a slider to end the game and pick up his 19th save. Holmes is now tied with Emmanuel Clase for second in baseball in saves. He's been excellent this season, posting a 1.23 ERA, 1.23 WHIP and 29:8 K:BB in 29.1 innings.

Yankees' Luis Gil: Allows three runs Sunday
Rotowire
Gil did not factor into the decision in Sunday's loss to the Dodgers, allowing three runs on five hits and a walk while striking out five in 5.2 innings.
Gil held the Dodgers in check through the first four innings, but they broke through in the fifth on a two-run double from Mookie Betts. Teoscar Hernandez would add to that with a solo home run in the sixth, leading to Gil's exit. Sunday was the first time Gil had given up more than one run in a start since he allowed five against the Brewers on April 26. The Yankees are now 11-2 in games started by Gil, and he'll carry a magnificent 2.04 ERA, 0.93 WHIP and 90:35 K:BB (75 innings) into a showdown versus the Red Sox over the weekend.

Yankees' Trent Grisham: Provides timely home run
Rotowire
Grisham went 1-for-2 with a three-run homer and two walks in Sunday's 6-4 win over the Dodgers.
Grisham, who's been in the lineup the last four days while Juan Soto tends to forearm inflammation, provided some clutch hitting with a three-run blast off Tyler Glasnow in the sixth to put the Yankees up 5-3. Grisham now has five hits on the year, with three of those being home runs. He should continue to find himself in the lineup as long as Soto is unable to go. The 27-year-old Grisham is now slashing just .100/.258/.280 with nine RBI, four runs and a 10:19 BB:K in 62 plate appearances.

Yankees' Oswaldo Cabrera: Swats home run Sunday
Rotowire
Cabrera went 1-for-3 with a solo home run in Sunday's 6-4 win over the Dodgers.
Cabrera opened up the scoring with a solo home run off the right field foul pole in the third inning. It was his first home run since May 1 and his first extra-base hit since May 5. He started off the year cooking at the plate but has cooled off considerably and now finds himself in a depth role with the return of DJ LeMahieu to the lineup. For the year, Cabrera is slashing .238/.278/.360 with five homers, 22 RBI, 20 runs and a 10:33 BB:K in 176 plate appearances.

Yankees' Aaron Judge: Swats 24th home run
Rotowire
Judge went 3-for-4 with a solo homer, a double, two RBI and two runs scored in Sunday's 6-4 win over the Dodgers.
Judge capped off his night with a no-doubt 434-foot blast to left field off Yohan Ramirez to put the Yankees up 6-4 in the eighth. He also tacked on an RBI double in the third and singled in the sixth before coming around to score on a homer from Trent Grisham. Judge has been on an absolutely torrid stretch at the plate. He has seven multi-hit efforts over his last nine games and is slashing .533/.650/1.300 with six homers, 18 RBI, 13 runs and a 10:6 BB:K over that span. He has started to distance himself from the rest of the pack, as his 24 home runs leads the way in baseball, while Gunnar Henderson is next behind him with 20.
